Hablando de comida en general, existe una vertiente del recetario culinario de Hidalgo que se encuentra en casi cualquier esquina de la ciudad –sobre todo cuando la noche cae-, la comida callejera. Esta comida de portón, de carritos y cualquier otro medio (a veces bastante creativos) ha permanecido entre nosotros desde siempre. Y es que, por su basta variedad, su sazón única y aquella facilidad para encontrarlos, es simplemente imposible no amar esta rama de la gastronomía hidalguense. Es por ello que nos propusimos recolectar los más representativos y exóticos manjares callejeros de la ciudad.
